Borussia Dortmund has secured a comfortable victory over Hertha BSC in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday, thanks to goals from Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland.

The match started with a tense atmosphere as both teams looked to establish their dominance early on. However, it was Borussia Dortmund who broke the deadlock in the 18th minute when Jadon Sancho fired home from close range after receiving a pass from Jude Bellingham.

Hertha BSC responded quickly though, equalizing just two minutes later through a well-taken goal from Julian Dacey. But Dortmund were not finished yet, and they doubled their lead in the second half when Erling Haaland scored his first goal for the club, following a clever run down the right flank before slotting the ball past Hertha goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

Despite Hertha's efforts to mount a comeback, Dortmund held firm and eventually ran out comfortable winners. The win moves them up to fourth place in the league table, while Hertha slip to seventh.

Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland have been in excellent form recently, with the former scoring seven goals in his last six games, while the latter has netted five times in his last four outings. Both players will be key for Dortmund going forward as they look to secure a top-four finish and potentially a Champions League spot this season.

Overall, it was another impressive display from Borussia Dortmund against a tough opposition, and one that bodes well for their future prospects in the Bundesliga.
